1. Use of Service

By accessing or using Sokoleho, you agree to use our platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use Sokoleho in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations, or in a manner that is harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for misuse.

2. Platform Role

Sokoleho is a digital commerce platform that connects customers with independent businesses offering products and services. Sokoleho provides the technology platform, ordering system, and payment processing infrastructure, but Sokoleho is not the seller, manufacturer, or provider of the products or services listed by businesses on the platform. Each business is responsible for the quality, accuracy, delivery, and fulfillment of their products or services.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or use of your account. Sokoleho is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Payments

Payments for products or services are processed securely through third-party payment providers. By making a payment on Sokoleho, you agree to provide accurate and complete payment information. Sokoleho may collect payments on behalf of businesses and facilitate the transfer of funds to the business after order fulfillment, subject to any applicable fees, commissions, refunds, or dispute reviews.

5. Refunds and Disputes

Businesses listed on Sokoleho are solely responsible for the fulfillment, quality, and accuracy of their products and services, including all refunds, returns, and exchanges. Sokoleho is a technology platform that facilitates communication and transactions between customers and independent businesses — we are not the seller or service provider and do not bear financial responsibility for refunds or returns. If you experience an issue with an order or service, you must report it within a reasonable time after the order is delivered or the service date. Sokoleho will assist in facilitating communication between the customer and the business to help reach a resolution, but the obligation to issue any refund lies solely with the business. Sokoleho reserves the right to withhold or delay payouts to businesses while a dispute is being investigated.

6. Delivery and Fulfillment

Businesses listed on Sokoleho are responsible for delivery and fulfillment of orders. Delivery times are estimates and may vary. Sokoleho is not responsible for delays, damages, or losses caused during delivery, but we will assist in resolving issues between customers and businesses.

7. Subscription and Billing (For Businesses)

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice.

• •You can cancel your subscription at any time through your billing dashboard. Upon cancellation, no further charges will be made, but you will retain access to your dashboard and storefront until the end of the current billing period.
• •New subscribers have a 7-day grace period from their first successful subscription payment. If you cancel within this period, you may request a refund of that first payment, less a 7% admin fee to cover payment processing costs, by contacting support@sokoleho.com.
• •After the 7-day grace period, all subscription payments are final and non-refundable, though cancellation stops all future charges.
• •The business may reactivate at any time by starting a new subscription.
• •Pricing changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance and take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not use Sokoleho to: send unsolicited commercial messages; engage in fraudulent activity; list illegal or prohibited products or services; disrupt or interfere with the platform; attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems; collect or harvest user data without consent; or impersonate any person or entity. Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of your account.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. Sokoleho reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

Sokoleho provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Sokoleho is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform, including issues related to products, services, or delivery provided by businesses.
